Ai Group member companies are sharing industry solutions to reduce sexual harassment at work. As a member of the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) National Inquiry’s Reference Panel, Ai Group has begun hosting member consultations with the Sex Discrimination Commissioner, Kate Jenkins and her team (such as that pictured above).
Tolerance of sexual harassment is not in the interests of industry. Ai Group will be making a submission to the Inquiry to better support business and offer effective solutions to reduce sexual harassment in Australian workplaces. Ai Group members interested in attending these consultations, please register your interest here.
The AHRC also has released a useful Workplace Conversation Toolkit to enable discussions in your workplace about sexual harassment. In addition, businesses who have entered non-disclosure agreements but wish to enable complainants of sexual harassment to make a confidential submission to the Inquiry, may seek further information here.
